About this project
We've designed drink coasters modeled after bicycle cranks to replace the drab coasters found in every household. It's true that we're in the 21st century and technology is advancing at an astonishing rate, but condensation dripping from sweaty drinks will always be the Achilles heel of water-absorbent furniture.
We're completely prepared to have these manufactured, but set-up costs to do so are über expensive and can only be offset by Crank Coaster fans, such as yourself. The manufacturers are all lined up, ready to make the coasters and print the packaging, but we can't continue without your assistance.
Each coaster is made of unbreakable solid steel (16 gauge cold-rolled steel, to be exact) and will be powder-coated in various colors. They're 4" wide and protected by a non-slip rubber bottom. The rubber also protrudes through the crank openings to securely keep your beverage in place. These little guys will bring any sweaty drink to its knees.
These are pretty sweet coasters and we've already "sold" dozens to our friends, and actually some to the guys at the manufacturing plants who are excited to see this happen.
