Kickstarter

[Update: As of Friday morning the goal has been reached! For every $30 past the goal I will take 5 more portraits of 5 more people to add to the project]

I've been photographing people for about the past year and a half. Learning something new sometimes deviates off into figuring out the technical bits of this new craft, or trying to find ways to be original or to do something new. It's really easy to lose sight of what attracted you to it in the first place.

Though I haven't always, I love people. Spending time getting to know all of the stories and quirks that make up a person, then doing your best to distill what draws you to them into a photograph...that never gets old. I'm addicted to people and capturing something about them, and that's what this project boils down to:

I'm making a very straightforward project: I want to take 10 portraits of 10 different people using Polaroid film (from The Impossible Project). The funds raised will go towards the film to take the portraits and the rewards you guys get.

I'm a fan of sharing things, especially details from my adventuring off into my city with a camera to meet strangers, so for supporting this project you can get your hands on the original Polaroids I'll be taking for this project, as well as various sized prints. 

Also, as I take each portrait I will also be posting an update here on this Kickstarter page showing you the shots I take and telling you a little about who you see; information that you wouldn't know otherwise. YOU GET TO SEE BEHIND THE VEIL!
