And as much as that thank you is for backing this project, I think it comes more with the purpose of thanking you for the comment. I love sparking conversation. And I want to do something that isn't quite me yelling at this large monetary power house of influence, but at least gives another positive option and is openly appreciating what is and what could be in a largely painted and artificial world. I hope it can be something good for your daughter one day.
And pretty much any picture of me is exactly what I look like first thing in the morning: rough. I might look in to throwing something in there (though it may scare people away).

As my daughter grows up I notice more & more how the world (t.v. & media) push an unrealistic image of what people should look like, how they should present them selves, what is acceptable, what to buy, etc...
While "First thing in the morning" may not be going to battle those misconceptions directly at least it seems to be heading in the right direction.. And who knows maybe this is the start of a new way we look at ourselves & other people!! Hope your magazine catches on with the masses and helps change what we now are expected to look like!
Wouldn't hurt to take a pic of yourself waking up for the first issue :D
