Kickstarter

Hello gracious backers,

Randy told me that he cooked himself a large frozen pizza with extra cheese last night and counted all the bites - 52 total. So he's a lot more confident that his stomach is going to be able to handle a (somewhat) equivalent dose of grease spread out over two days. I'm happy to see his anxiety soothed, though it remains to be seen how it actually compares to the real deal.

We made our hotel reservations for the big trip and I just ordered a second high-capacity battery for the camera. We've  also reached our second stretch goal, so tomorrow I'm going to be making some phone calls to set up those promised interviews to make the movie that much cooler. The challenge will be to find the right time to speak with the vendors without getting in the way of their money-making.

That said, if any of you happen to have connections to any vendors in the Iowa State Fair, now's the time to speak up.

And already we're less than $100 away from meeting our second stretch goal, which will get you a ONE HOUR film as the finished product. Personally, I'd love to see the film premiere, and the way things are going I think that can totally happen.

So please continue to let your friends know, because we still have six days left before our deadline. 

Also, tomorrow I will be adding a Paypal donation link for those who would like to donate to the project but don't want to go through Kickstarter for whatever reason. Same rewards and levels will still apply.

I can't tell you how excited (and amazed) I am to see the response to the film. Thank you for your support.
