SYNOPSIS
T IS FOR TANTRUM is a four-minute short film about the tragically hilarious chain of events that occur when a fearful and panicky 6-year old boy loses his first baby tooth.
T IS FOR TANTRUM will be directed by Jack Perez (Mega-Shark Vs. Giant Octopus) and written by Ryan Levin (Scrubs), the team that collaborated on the new dark comedy, SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE, executive produced by John Landis and starring Kevin Corrigan. CAST
PAUL F. TOMPKINS: Paul is an actor and comedian who wrote and performed on Mr. Show with Bob and David, hosted Best Week Ever and has appeared in numerous films, including Anchorman, There Will Be Blood and The Informant. In October, Paul will shoot his fourth Comedy Central special. Paul also hosts the very popular podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast.
JANIE HADDAD: Janie voices Margaret and several other characters on Cartoon Network's hit show, The Regular Show. She has appeared on Conan, Criminal Minds, Desperate Housewives and Monk, among other TV shows, and can be seen in the films Some Guy Who Kills People and Drones.
GRIFFIN CLEVELAND: Griffin is a stellar child actor with a list of amazing credits, including The Walking Dead, Bones, Lie to Me, Criminal Minds and Medium. He loves blowing the heads off zombies.
CONTEST
T IS FOR TANTRUM is not just another short film that we're throwing on YouTube. It is chance for us to gain some great exposure and advance our careers.
T IS FOR TANTRUM will be submitted to a very special short film contest -- THE ABCs OF DEATH -- a project that will feature 26 shorts (one for each letter of the alphabet) created by some of the biggest horror/thriller/sci-fi directors in independent film. People whose work we love and respect.
Every letter has been assigned, except one -- "T." This is where the contest comes in. Anybody can submit a short film, four minutes or less, that is about death, and inspired by the letter "T." The video will then be posted on-line, and the 10 films receiving the most fan votes will be shown to the other 25 directors. JACK PEREZ - DIRECTOR
Jack has directed numerous feature films, including the cult hit MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS. Most recently, Jack directed the feature film, SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE. His award-winning features include LA CUCARACHA and THE BIG EMPTY.
RYAN LEVIN - WRITER/PRODUCER
Ryan wrote and produced the indie feature, SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE, executive produced by John Landis and starring Kevin Corrigan. Ryan has also written for several TV shows, including SCRUBS.
