What does it mean to pledge?
If you pledge, you are saying you will give us money IF we raise the full 30,000 on Kickstarter. If we don't reach our goal, then you don't pay anything.
Why should I donate money to Tinkatolli?
Rather than considering your pledge a donation, look at it as pre-purchasing a membership to a fantastic universe!
You give us the resources we need to complete Tinkatolli, and your child gets countless hours of entertainment and creative fun - on and off the computer!
But you don't need to wait until we reach our goal to have fun. We are ready to give rewards right now. If you pledge any amount today, your kid can start exploring Tinkatolli within 24 hours (often sooner).
We are pretty confident that Tinkatolli is going to become a place of fun and creativity for millions of kids from all over the world - just think about how proud you'll be to know you helped get it off the ground (and maybe even have your name carved in our Supporters Stone :)

It's nerd-speak. The "beta" part means there is a very fun, working version of the game, that isn't completely finished - so there might be some glitches. The "private" part means that since it isn't finished, we need to control how many people are playing. Therefore, in order to play the game, you need an invitation from Tinkatolli.

After you pledge, go to http://www.tinkatolli.me/index.html#signup and create a free account (make sure to check your email afterwards). Once you have your account, write your username in the comments section (or send us an email through kickstarter).

Within 24 hours from when you give us your username, usually much faster. It is something we have to do manually, so if you pledge while we are sleeping, you'll have to wait until we wake up :-)
