PHEW! We've reached our initial goal. That was the bare minimum though, so let me assure you that additional funds will be used wisely and productively during the CD release process! A million thanks to our wonderful fans and supporters!!!!

HI EVERYONE!!!! Firstly, thanks so much for visiting the Kickstarter page, we really appreciate your time and interest in helping us!! We are SO close to finishing this album, and with your help, it's going to be really special.
Matt (drums), Peter (guitars), Luke (bass/producer) and I have spent countless hours working on these songs and recording them with care. Now that we are approaching a final product, we need your help to complete a radio-ready, professional CD that can help us get to the next level!
About $2000 of your donations will go towards mastering and making copies of the CD, and the remainder will be used to make the music video and cover our producer fee. If we exceed our goal, we might be able to afford to make copies on VINYL (a copy of which would be sent to all donors surpassing the $50 mark)!!!
All of this is geared towards reaching as many people as possible and increasing our fan base so we can achieve our ultimate dream: to make a living playing music all across the world. Thank you for helping us at this important stage of the journey!
Progress so far:
- ALMOST finished recording and mixing the CD (Done! Oct. 3)

- CD artwork done (it's awesome!)
- working on t-shirt and sticker designs
- found an amazing mastering engineer (http://www.collinsaudio.com/)
- working on a music video; Bryan Carberry (shot and edited Scott Weiland and Morrisey music videos) has signed on to direct a video for the first single from Starboard Sessions, "Songbird".

Born and raised in Easton, Maryland, Tien is living in Los Angeles, writing and performing music. Starboard Sessions, due to release in 2010, is the first full band CD by Tien. He is joined by Peter Potyondy (Guitar), Matt Fleming (Drums) and Luke Hall (Bass). His first CD, Patience Finds, was released in 2008.
