Strep Throat is a zine that will be published every 4 months. It contains illustrations, comics, interviews, playlists, and movies.
STREP THROAT is a triannual zine put out by THROAT that presents the work of young artists and interviews with persons established in their fields.
Our first issue featured interviews with Robin Crutchfield (DNA founder and pioneer of the No Wave movement), and Gabe Fowler (owner of Desert Island and editor of Smoke Signal). Strep Throat also exhibited an array of illustrations, comics, photgraphs, playlists, and a DVD featuring work of young filmmakers.
We were ecstatic with how the first one turned out and I want the next one to be even better by making the second issue full color on good paper, we feel that the quality of this next zine ought to do the work of the artists justice.
This issue will contain interviews with the artist Anders Nilsen and Russell Etchen the Director at Domy in Austin.
