Hey everybody, you probably thought you'd seen the last post from us through Kickstarter. Almost, but not quite. We got very busy at the end of last year & left some important items unfinished. After a nice break in January, we're back at it & it's time to snip off those loose ends:

1) Take Cover #4 is up - Looks That Kill by Motley Crue. It's right here:

2) We're giving the Come On Summer EP an official release with a show Saturday March 9. El Cid has the best sound system in L.A., and tapas. It was the obvious choice.

3) Some of you locals haven't received your t-shirts yet. This Sunday 3/3 we're planning hand deliveries. Like the finest utility companies, we're asking everyone to remain home between noon and 5pm that day to receive them. Thanks.

Dear Friends Awaiting LPs,

To those of you living outside the greater L.A. area:  We're happy to say your LPs have been mailed out and you should be receiving them within seconds.

To you locals, if you're coming to the record release show tonight:  Just belly up to the merch table, announce yourself, and demand a copy. We'll have a special stack set aside and a list with your name on it.

Even if you can't stay for the show, please come by & grab your double LP. Admission is free & it will be nice to shake your hand. Details are below.

If we don't see you tonight, we will soon be traversing a loopy, space-shuttle-like route to deliver the rest of them to your doorsteps. So if you've moved, please let us know.

Dear Favorite People,

We've been remiss in keeping you abreast of our progress. Here, have some information!

To refresh your memories, we have three main items we're working on, namely the 23-song Freeway Special LP, the 18-song Freeway Special CD, and the 5-song Come On Summer EP (which appears on side IV of the LP). Then we've also got t-shirts and cover songs, and one 45-rpm 7" single.

The LP is at the pressing plant. We have not received a firm date but estimate its completion in under two weeks. The Freeway Special CD is finished. Several boxes are en route to our headquarters even as you read this. The Come On Summer EP is at the plant, with an ETA of 8/1. 

T-shirts have been designed. We'll get sizes from the concerned parties when we ask for everyone's addresses & other pertinent information. Then the silkscreening will begin.

We have performed & filmed all the cover songs but one so far. The recordings still need to be mixed and the video edited. They were lots of fun & the results should delight even the hardest-hearted. We've also recorded one of the two MSR songs for the one-of-a-kind 7" single. One more to go.

That about wraps it up. There are a few house parties and one puppet master pledge that we're happy to take care of at any time. The respective parties should not be shy in voicing their demands.

Hello all you beautiful people! Thanks so much for getting us to our goal and beyond. We are overwhelmed and deeply grateful.

The first post-Kickstarter step is underway - the songs were sent out today for mastering & will be mp3-ified & made available to each of you very soon. We'll keep you posted.

To those of you who ordered CDs, in case you missed it in the FAQ: in addition to the new CD, we'll be sending you hard copies of the 5-song digital EP (Vinyl buyers do not be alarmed - you're already receiving these songs on side 4 of the album). We're only pressing enough copies to fulfill the Kickstarter CD orders, so no general public non-Kickstarter interlopers will get them, which we think is pretty cool. Don't know if you're into that sort of thing.

To those of you who have rewards coming other than music, we will contact you individually to discuss t-shirt sizes and the various hoops through which we must jump to satisfy you.
