Update #5: Important Information for Clothing the Line Supporters
Dear Clothing the Line Supporters,
Thank you all for your amazing support for Clothing the Line over the last few weeks!
We are changing our fund-raising venue from Kickstarter to our own web-site using Fractured Atlas, a national non-profit artist service organization. Importantly, this will allow all donations to Clothing the Line to be tax-detectable donations - something that was missing from our current fund-raiser. We also discovered that they charge a lower processing fee, so more of the money you donate will go directly to the project.
As we are canceling our drive on Kickstarter, none of the pledges you have made will go through and you will not be charged for anything you pledged. At this time it would be awesome if you would donate what you pledged directly to the project at www.clothingtheline.com
Right now, Ana and I are working tirelessly to secure partners, sponsors, and permits and create relationships with established organizations working with the homeless. We are sure that this new mode of fund-raising will open more possibilities for donations and allow us to continue securing the partners and permits we need to make this project a success.
We thank you in advance for your donation and we will keep you updated about the progress.
With Regards,
Jon Morris

Update #1: Thank you first backers + News about the performances!
Justin Winokur, Dan Carlos Amora, Arlene Hutton and Lucien (Invisible Dog),thank you so much for supporting us since the beginning! Having you here means a lot to us!
We from the Windmill Factory are focusing all our energy in making this project the most beautiful as possible and I will use this space to let you know our progress towards the implementation of Clothing the Line.
This week we had some amazing meetings and everything lead us to believe that we will be luckily working with Marguarite Scott, a playwright who is transitioning back from being homeless now. Guatemalan artist Sayda Maria Trujillo is going to work with us. And we are talking with Electric Pear, The Debate Society, and Anson Mount about creating work for the piece. We are very excited about having the chance of such interesting and talented people!
By the way I am Ana and I will be responsible for making Clothing the Line's updates! I am Brazilian and since my english still being improved, please excuse me for all the mistakes that may appear in this section!
Fell free to send me suggestions, comments, ideas, and more then anything, help us spread the world!
I hope you all are having a wonderful saturday night!
Ana
