The Whole Scoop delivers natural ice cream in an environmentally friendly way with wholesome ingredients and awesome flavor.
The Whole Scoop was born out of a passion for quality and authentic flavor. Sad that we could not find ice cream locally that was similar to what we were making at home, the light bulb went on. Being ever doubtful of our hair brained ideas we started off slow. Small batches, investigating every possible ingredient supplier and talking with anyone and everyone we could. Over three years and countless long hours we found our dream team of ingredients. Fresh, natural and packed with flavor we started developing our own recipes. We start with an all-natural base for our ice cream and choose the best ingredients we can find to create amazing flavors. We have those California Happy Cows providing our milk and cream and you throw in a few perfectly ripe strawberries and you have the best strawberry ice cream you have ever had.
Not knowing if what we were tasting was simply our imagination and hopeful thinking, we started giving our ice cream away. Any chance we had we handed it out. Friends, family, work associates, our children's friends and their families. We held ice cream socials at our house inviting everyone in our community to join in, eat some ice cream, chat and take some home with them. Throwing our technology background in to the mix we asked for anonymous feedback online to tell us all about their ice cream experience. When the rave reviews started coming in we knew we had something special.
We are building this shop for the community and for a time when ice cream was made with milk, cream, eggs and sugar. We don't want processed, fake, artificial, colored ice milk. We want the real thing and we hope you do to. Located in Downtown Newhall, CA in an area that previously wasn't a very friendly place to be we are seeing a regrowth. A revitalization project has livened up the area and a brand new, awesome-town library is being built just down the street. We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to our fun, family ice cream store.
Your support through our kickstarter project will help us build our very quaint store that will be a great location for families, first dates and after event refreshments. Come in, have a scoop and hang out. We've sunk our savings in to this concept for three years and feel that now is the right time to make it happen. The economy the way it is we are pulling together every resource we have to raise the funds to open this store.
