just wanted to write to thank you for sending the taster kit!
sadly, it was SOAKED and by the time we got back from Dubai it was VERY
expired. i just wanted to let you all know why we haven't filled out your review request!
your email mentioned that you'd send another one, and i was hoping we
weren't to late for that. And if we are, at least PLEASE keep us on your
event list! keep up the great work!
I haven't heard back from you either on getting my tasting samples - and I gave you guys $100. Quite a few disgruntled people who have donated to your cause on this board.
Love this, we used to make jello shot glasses when I was a bartender. Basically a firmer jiggler recipe, it was a great success. Best of luck!
Hi, I haven't heard from you guys since I pledged $50... I was wondering if you will celebrate with a toast or you will send a sample of the jello-ware tasting samples as you promoted in your pledge.
I live in Brooklyn also.
did anyone get a postcard/anything yet?
Great idea, I'm glad you got funded! If it ever gets off the ground, I hope the jelloware ends up cheaper than $50/cup.
yay!
I'm glad you folks made your goal
Hi! I know agar very well as our family have been eating/using agar as desserts for the last 38 years. Agar also known as Kanten (in Japanese) and it has been used in Japan for almost 400 years. I am sure you can find many information on this 100% red algae extract when you search under agar or kanten. I think this is a great idea and good project. I wish you all the best and hope to see this project comes true with real products available in the market.
Hi - does it not come off on your hands? Any product testing on that? Thanks!! Good luck!
If a store is using children to make 90% of their imports would you be ok with buying from this store? I wouldn't.
christine, didn't your mother ever teach you: if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!
i don't know the ladies behind this project personally, but i do know that the product they developed is AWESOME and i sincerely hope it gets funded. i can't wait to throw a party and serve delicious drinks in jelloware!
the people who are behind this project are sadly not the greatest of people (i have my sources)
I only wish such a great idea was created by nice people. Knowing this fact also sadly holds me back from giving money to these people. Maybe if they learn first how to be goodhearted people then I'll feel better in helping them produce an awesome product.
Good luck to you, Ingrid and friends! Nina and Noni would love to be invited to a testing party. Loved
the video!!
I hope you will be able to jump through all the government "hoops" to get this one going. Great idea. We own a campground and it would sure be great to have less trash. There are so many applications for this product if you can make it work. I think agar is a component of cholesterol lowering drugs. If so, would make another "selling point." Kids would love them at McD. Can I buy stock in your adventure?
@olivia -- thanks for the quick answer. Totally gluten-free and safe for celiacs like me. Pledged and blogged it today: http://lettersfromtitan.com/2011/01/14/yummy-yummy-trash-day-goodies/
and for those of you who are wondering if it is truly vegan...it is made of agar, which contains NO gelatin! from wikipedia: "Agar or agar-agar is a gelatinous substance derived from a polysaccharide that accumulates in the cell walls of agarophyte red algae." i.e. it is completely plant derived and i do not think it contains gluten of any kind (but @Racheline if you have an allergy, you might want to double-check that just in case!)
i sincerely hope this gets backed! what a FANTASTIC idea. i only wish i could contribute more!
Wish I could donate, but I'm tapped out! Lol. I'll post the link for you guys, though!
I love this idea. Can you tell us if these JELLOWARE will be gluten-free?
what about people with dirty hands?
Best of luck ladies,

how about jager agar shot glasses
I agree with Craig Isaacs -- I want to buy your product and I don't have $500 to do so :(
PopStache did this really well! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shaneblomberg/pops-stache
Great idea, but are you sure it's vegan? Real gelatin is not; it contains ground bone meal.
hi
Hi Monica, I wish you great success in this project, and all that you do.
Hey all! Thanks for the comments!
@Heidi Smith We actually plan on changing the name once this product is developed. We originally used Jelloware because of the "Jello" mold competition.
@Craig Isaacs Thanks for the feedback, we are considering adding some cheaper product options.
@Gerry G We can and have make sugar free options: such as a dirty martini in our garlic olive cup.
@Mark Jesus Clark Thanks! We aren't selling the molds or products just yet, but if you happen to be local to NY you can attend one of our testing parties to test out Jelloware yourself.
Don't hesitate to shoot us an email as well: info@thewayweseetheworld.com
Any chance of buying the product or given the moulds etc as a product? Loving this idea btw....
Is it made in sugar free option?
I was surprised there was no "product" option for backing. For example -- if you offered "Be one of the first to receive this cool product! Get a pack of 10" and it was $20, you may have quite a few more takers (like me, for example).
A question ladies...isn't "Jello" already a copywrite? Do you have the legal right to use the name? If not, what will you call it that will still be marketable?
We can have jellow and eat it too.Yummy Yummi. We prefer Vegan stuff anyway.
Thanks everyone, and yes they are Vegan!
Doh! Should have read the front page, yes, it's vegan!
Hi! Question for The Way we See The World... Does Jelloware contain gelatin? Is it vegan?
Great idea! I hate doing the dishes and taking out the garbage after a party. Your idea takes care of both!
Good luck! I'm looking forward to my Mindmelt!
brilliant, ladies!!!
