Thanks for visiting our Kickstarter page!  We are The SWEET REMAINS, a collaboration of three singer/songwriters- Rich Price, Greg Naughton, and Brian Chartrand. Our band is based in the Northeast, and over the last four years, we've played shows all over the United States and Europe. We've taken a break from the road to work on a new batch of songs that we're really excited about, and we're hoping to finish our sophomore studio album this fall. That's where you come in!

It used to be that a band like ours would rely on a record label to spend upward of a hundred thousand dollars to fund an album and PR campaign. But things have changed in music, and in many cases for the better. Crowd funding sites like Kickstarter have put the power in the hands of independent artists, allowing us to make the record our way and with the help of the very people we're making the record for. That connection between bands and fans has never been deeper or more important. Through our Kickstarter campaign, we plan to finish recording the songs, design the artwork, produce the CDs and launch a PR campaign targeted at internet and satellite radio.  In a sense, our audience (you!) has become our record label.

This is an exciting time to be making music and we are SO excited about the songs on this album.  If you liked our first album, "Laurel & Sunset", we hope to deliver an even more diverse, authentic and intimate collection of songs with this CD.  Please take a look at our video (above) and browse the different ways to get involved on the right side (from simply buying the CD in advance-- to becoming an "executive producer").  Any pledge will help us finish this project right!
