The Sudden Passion is raising funds to release their forthcoming LP on a very limited run of colored 12" vinyl records!!
The Sudden Passion plays gritty, country influenced indie-rock. Although, you are more likely to hear them use a synthesizer than a steel guitar. The band records and self-produces their lo-fi sounds out of the high deserts of Southern California.
We plan to release our next LP, Southern Fashion, on a VERY limited run of 12" colored vinyl. However, we are going to need your help to make it happen! There are over a dozen pledge levels, ranging from a simple download to a private acoustic show in your living room.
The $2,500 goal has been set to cover the estimated cost of record manufacturing and shipping. If the project goes over the goal, all additional funds will be put
towards promotion of the album. We want as many people as possible to
have the chance to enjoy these songs. Kickstarter is "all or nothing". No one will be charged if the project does not meet its goal.
International orders (outside of the US) are accepted. Additional fees for shipping are not required, however, if you would like to include a little extra for shipping you are more than welcome to do so.

Bio:
The Sudden Passion started off in 2005 as a collection M. Palermo's (of Electro group Femme Fatality) Indie/Alt-Country demo tracks. The songs share the stories of his tour adventures, love sagas, and tales of barroom brawls. While all the ditties were originally showcased as solo/acoustic, the project has evolved into a full 5 piece band featuring Matt Henderson (ex Still Life) on bass, Shane Mongeau (Midnight Dance Craze, Femme Fatality ) on guitar/synth, Andrew Roberts on drums, and Carly Jo on backing vocals.
Central Standard Time, their first full length album, was released digitally in August 2010. It was self-recorded in both St. Louis, MO (where Palermo is originally from) and Los Angeles, CA (where the band now resides). The Sudden Passion released a video for the album's single, "Herpes Of The Heart".
The EP Successful Friends was released on November 1st , 2011. Mongeau and Palermo wrote and self-recorded the tracks in their homes in Southern California. Videos have been released for two of the mini album's 5 songs (the title track and "Walk Of Shame").
The Sudden Passion is currently recording a second full-lenth album (titled Southern Fashion) with an expected fall 2012 release date.
