Hello!
We are The Sheriffs of Nottingham.
We are a rock band from Memphis, Tennessee who have been playing together for the last 4 years. In late 2010, we started work on our second album called "Have Mercy." We felt that we had some very special songs and wanted to record them at the best studio we possibly could. The good thing is...we didn't have to look far. Ardent Studios, located right here in Memphis, is a world famous studio that has been home to Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, R.E.M., The White Stripes, and countless others. The only problem is, recording an album is a very expensive process. We were able to pay for the tracking and mixing, but still need help to pay for mastering, duplication, and distribution of our CDs.
And that's where YOU come in.
We need $2,500 to finish Have Mercy and get it out to you. In exchange for your generous contribution of anything from $5 to $500 (and above), we are offering several goods and services. Everything from digital and hard copy versions of Have Mercy, to limited edition items that you can't find anywhere else, and even a T-Shirt designed specially for this Kickstarter project. Oh, and if you REALLY love us, we'll even come play in your living room!
If we don't reach our goal, we get nothing, and won't be able to get this album out. So, please look at the list of incentives to the right and the photos below. Also, please help us spread the word about this project and help us reach our goal.
