Thanks so much for taking the time to watch our video and learn more about our project.
We are recording a brand new EP and are hoping for your help producing it.
In writing these four new song we approached the process with a simple formula: create intelligent indie rock songs that spill over with catch-heavy hooks by crafting a sound that only the five of us, as a group working together, could create.
We recorded and released our first EP, "A Great Detective Race" a little over a year ago when we first arrived in Los Angeles. We recorded, produced and mixed the EP ourselves in our band room/ garage/ drummer's bedroom (all the same place) and plan on doing the same with this new album. The big difference this time though, is we've learned exactly what we can do to make the quality of our recordings sound better and in the end that comes by way of a little help from you.

The Rubbish Zoo is a five piece indie rock band from Cheyenne, Wyoming that recently moved out to Los Angeles. The music we record is a brightly-lined amalgamation of emotions. We aim to craft a sound that is wild and diverse-a summing up of five individuals with unique tastes-that will play out as cathartic and inherently "whole". Whenever we are around each other we are having fun. We're happy and upbeat, and that is what we feel is most important to share with others.
