Update #8: Now taking pre-orders!
Great news everyone! We are now taking pre-orders for the green GLO rimSkin on our website www.therimskin.com
We expect to ship at the end of March 2012. You can now order your GLO rimSkin for all wheel sizes! On top of the great news, take 25% off your order on solid or specialty rimSkins (Excluding GLO pre-order) throughout this week!
Update #7: Thank you
Unfortunately our project goal was unsuccessfully funded. We want to thank everyone who supported the project and a huge thank you to all the backers. This does not mean the Glo rimSkin will not be available. We will be launching the Glo rimSkin in March 2012. Keep checking our website and like us on facebook for updates.

Keep up the good work and relaunch on here if you can think of other stuff you can do updates on. The most successful projects have been those that update on a regular basis for others to "like" all along the way. You have a good product idea; maybe a non-winter relaunch for funds might be the ticket? I'll buy when they are available; that's a promise!

Update #6: Tell your friends!
Okay guys we have 6 days left on our project! We really want to get the project to reach its goal so we can start production on the Glo rimSkin! We need your help spreading the word please! Twitter, Facebook, blogs, friends and family. Together we can make this happen!

Update #5: New sizes!
We spent much of the weekend creating the patterns for the new sizes we are going to be carrying. We currently have BMX 20", MTB/Trail 24", 700c/29er, MTB/Cruiser 26" (ISO559) and Super Deep V 50mm. The BMX, MTB/Trail/Cruiser and 700c/29er are meant to be used with disc brakes, coaster brake, or no brakes.
We are working on adding additional sizes including 650c, motorcycles, and more very soon! Here are some pics of the progress!
Update #4: Here we glow...
We spent the day doing some extensive testing on various samples and phosphorescent levels. Things are looking are really great and the future looks bright. Enjoy these pictures!

Limited edition, one of a kind custom glow fixed gear bike. Pure Fix Cycles from Los Angeles, CA was generous enough to donate one of their bikes for us to customize with a professional automotive grade glow in the dark paint job. The frame and fork will be painted with a high grade glo green phosphorescent pigment paint. The backer will be able to pick from 50cm, 54cm, or 58cm frame. The wheels will feature a pair of custom green or blue GLO rimSkin that are 50mm super deep V and feature a rear flip flop hub for fixed or single speed option. Along with the custom limited bike you will also receive the rewards from the $100 bundle.
