The Goal:

Our goal is to independently print and distribute 20,000 CDs, 50,000 Flyers, and 1,200 shirts at 12 major college campuses in the midwest and on the east coast. we will be traveling by RV starting in Los Angeles, CA and ending in Boston, MA. We will be spending 4 days at each stop, the first 3 days will be strictly promotion and on the 4th day we will performing a FREE SHOW at each college or in the surrounding area of the college. The entire tour will be filmed, edited, and uploaded on to social media outlets while we're on the road, as well as a final edit when we get back for a future DVD.  

What does independent mean? 

An independent artist is an artist that has no contracts or financial backing from a major label. Meaning that artist has to book his or her own shows, as well as pay for all merchandise, travel time, studio time, and production cost. This artist also has full control over his or her career when making business decisions. 

Transportation:

The RV AKA The KRUE Bus: This is our hotel on wheels and everything we need to safely travel from LA to Boston!

The Road Team: 

Chandler Clough AKA KRUE: KRUE has been in the music business for over 6 years, in that time he has built a team around him that consists of platinum selling producers, established artists, industry photographer/videographers, and entrepreneurs. After spending a year and half on his latest project KRUE is ready to promote the project to its highest level by taking his show on the road. He is the man that came up with the idea, he will be in charge of the live performance, video editing, and social networking while on the road. 

Aaron Hed Drake AKA DJ Hed AKA The Nerd: DJ hed has been in the business for over 10 years much of which has been spent on the road. He has toured both nationally and internationally with industry icons and is the official DJ for YMCMBs own Glasses Malone. DJ hed is a radio voice for 93.5-Kday Los Angeles and mixes in records for radio stations all over southern california. He will be on stage live with KRUE for every performance mixing as the show goes on. He will also be assisting with booking the shows, social networking, tech support (thats why he's a nerd) and setting up radio interviews before the tour begins.  

 Jordan Di Conti AKA DKO: Two years back Jordan dropped everything to help KRUE build his business from the ground up. DKO played a huge role in both the production and song writing of this project. Attending almost every studio session his contributions to both production and lyrics have helped elevate this project to become what it is today. He has produced over 40 all original beats specifically for this project. He will be radio interviewing with KRUE, as well as performing as his "Hype Man" to interact with the crowd while KRUE performs. He will be assisting with both promotions and social media while on the road. 

Robert Santiago: Always encouraging KRUE to stay on his path Rob played a huge role in the creation of this project. From business negotiations, to merchandise sales Rob has been a tremendous help for KRUE along the way. He will be in charge of camera operations and scheduling. His job will be to make sure the team is on time every time no matter what and will make sure everything is caught on camera.  

The Home Team: 

Mark Dorflinger AKA A.R. Electrik: Marc Has been a tremendous factor in creating this project. Bringing KRUE into 118west studios and allowing him to record in a 5 million dollar studio has elevated the project to heights that other wise might have been unseen. Contributing to both production and mixing Mark has done a fantastic job giving the project a professional sound that easily holds its own against legends in the industry. 

Peter Rafelson: Peter established himself early on as a writer and musician, working with such music greats as Jackson Browne and Elton John. Peter has written and produced many successful songs, appearing on over 300 million records sold, including the # 1 hit "Open Your Heart" for Madonna (29 million), as well as top ten singles for Stevie Nicks, Jane Wiedlin of The GoGo's and Britney Spears. Peter co-produced "Dreams", a #1 International single, performed by The Corrs and released on both Fleetwood Mac's "Legacy" tribute album and on The Corrs own album, "Talk on Corners". The UK release was the most successful album of the year outside the US, as it remained in the UK top five for over ten months and sold over 12 million records. He was a staff producer for 2K/Virgin Records, an EMI record label, for three years. Peter is currently signing and producing recording artists for his own two record labels, RM Records and FourScreen Entertainment. Most recently he has had four consecutive #1 Dance hits on debut artist, Erika Jayne and appeared on the #1 album - the Soundtrack from hit TV show "GLEE." He continues to develop new projects for the film, TV, and record industries. Peter now works out of his own recording studio, RM Studios, and heads three companies. Peter created and produced the original TV show, "Afterthoughts" for Bravo. His company, Rafelson Media has recently signed a deal to produce a slate of feature films for Parallel Media. His companies have propelled a number of artists to the top of the Billboard Charts. Peter has landed twenty-nine #1 singles and many top-tens in Billboard Magazine, including Erika Jayne's debut album, "PRETTY MESS" which landed six consecutive #1's. Most recently, Lady GaGa, Pink, Jason Derulo, Robin Thicke, Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift, Daughtry and Beyoncé have all finished mixing their albums at RMC Studios - Peter recently completed writing, producing and mixing David Guetta's main artist, Chris Willis' next single, "Can't Stop Loving You" at Rafelson's recording, mixing and post production facilities located in North Hollywood. Peter also continues to write and produce for many major Asian hit artists, including latest hit group, "Brown Eyed Girls."  Most recently, Rafelson is writing, producing and mixing for various CASH MONEY label artists including Glasses Malone and Lil' Wayne.  In addition to producing chart topping records, Rafelson has most recently scored and licensed his work in major TV shows such as ABC'S AMERICA'S FUNNIEST VIDEOS, and films, including 20th Cent. Fox's "THE WATCH," Tyler Perry's "THE MARRIAGE COUNSELOR" and many more. Peter has consistently been in the mix helping KRUE with mixes, production, song writing and features. Assisting in as many ways as possible this project would not be the same without the Rafelson touch! 

Kylian Mash: Kylian Mash earned his first gold record in 2008 with the project "Discobitch" and his huge hit "C'est beau la bourgeoisie" (# 1 Top Single and # 1 clubs for 13 weeks in France).[1].This popular success went worldwide up to America where the track was even reviewed by Perez Hilton,[2] the Pussycat Dolls or Madonna[3], which permits him to quickly feature as artist, producer, songwriter or remixer alongside the biggest names of the industry like Akon, Snoop Dogg, Glasses Malone, Lil Wayne, Flo-Rida, Coolio, JayKay, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Mohombi as well as collaborate with top producers like Sandy Vee (Rihanna, David Guetta, Ne-Yo…). Kylian's most confidential projects like his official remix of 'Rhythm is Dancer' or still 'Wicked Wow' produced for Carolina Marquez, nevertheless have reaches playlists of Top DJs like David Guetta, Joachim Garraud, Dj Chuckie or Eric Morillo...and since then, Kylian Mash is regularly solicited as DJ by the biggest clubs and also run his own radioshow broadcasted on numerous radio stations. In the same time, Kylian Mash founded in 2010 his music label "Most Wanted Music" which working today with Universal, Sony, Warner, EMI, Ultra or again Ministry of sound. Kylian Mash gave KRUE and his team 18 beats to work with for the project! 

These are just some of the people that have contributed to the creation of this project. So many people have invested their time and talent, it's clear this will be KRUEs best work yet. With such a solid track list this will definitely be KRUEs rise to the mainstream market. 

Where is the $35,000 going? 

This plan has been broken down to the minimum amount of money needed to execute our idea. All of the donations will be used for merchandise (CDs, Flyers, Shirts, Stickers), gas, food, road maintenance, and a pull behind trailer (used to carry all dj/stage equipment as well as merchandise). 100% of the money donated will be put towards this tour. If you don't know how Kickstarter works: all Kick Starter campaigns are all-or-nothing. That means that if we reach our goal of raising the total amount of money in 45 days, everything is successful and it all goes ahead. But if we only raise 99% of the goal.. your credit card doesn't get charged, you don’t lose a cent, I don’t get a cent, and the project can’t go ahead, unfortunately. So there is absolutely zero risk in donating: you either fund a project that is definitely going ahead (and you become as big a part of this as the members and I are), or you get your money back.
