Here's an indie band DIY budget to make a first recording.

Studio, one week of 10-hr days = $3000 

                               Producer = $5000 

                Mixing & Mastering = $2500 

                     CD Duplication = $1000 

                       Radio Promo = $3600 

              Publicity Campaign = $4700

                               TOTAL $19,800

This is the cost to do it "poor man's professional" style. As cheap as possible, while maintaining a quality to compete with the pros.

There was a girl in new york city, named Jessie Torrisi
       She spent her days working in skyscrapers & her nights secretly writing songs (trying not to wake the neighbors)

She dreamt of traveling the world -- singing, strumming, drumming with a band of merry thieves.... But she'd always wake up alone.

So she moved to Austin Texas …. Always dreaming….

         Little by little, her dreams started falling from the sky.

               New cities

                                New friends she made along the way.

Well we all know the music industry ain't what it used to be... and that's okay!

Because what are the chances they would've given three late bloomin', outta-the-box characters like ourselves a record deal??

We work, practice, write hard! We love every minute of it!

     (even the realizing that brilliant song you came up with after 20 shots of tequila needs a new chorus, or the booker in Omaha double-booked you)

We wouldn't trade this for the world.

We are SO EXCITED that CJ EIRIKSSON, a producer who's made so many records he couldn't count them (including many you've heard) is working with us.

In the last year, we've spent at least $13K of our own money on a VAN, GAS, T-SHIRTS, KAZOOS, PANTIES, POSTERS, WEBSITE, DEMOS, & STARTING THIS EP.

We're out of money! but we're close to done with this EP!

Here's the catch: as you become a more successful band, your life becomes less amenable to real jobs -- the kind where you bank.

When it's all said & done, paying the studio, engineer, producer, CD duplication place, artist to create the cover, photographer to make us look as good as we feel, iTunes to get it online... & then promo... will be $15K - $20K.

So we really really appreciate your help.

     We know you work hard for your money too.

And we will go ALL THE WAY to make this a MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE for our FAMILY, FRIENDS & FANS.
