Hey there Backers!

Quick update just to tell you that we're hard at work on all your rewards, we've been sewing, building, mixing, writing, mastering, stamping (among other gerunds) and we're almost ready to send all your goodies out. We're hoping to have a digital copy of the album out to all y'all in a week or so, and all your physical items finished and sent by the end of the month. 

Keep an eye on that mail box (and inbox)!

Hey there fans and friends and friendly fans,

First of all another million and a half thank yous are in order for helping us reach our goal so quickly and throughly and making us feel special (see face below for reference).

This update will serve as a reminder that there are still indeed many lovely incentives left for all y'all who are like me and say "oh yeah i forgot i was gonna do that" and wait till the last three days to contribute. So for all of you, there is still time! We've still got incentives left at almost every level! For $3 you get a postcard from us telling you about our day, and the weather and traffic with a code to download the album early. For $20 you get a CD and T-shirt and poster AND a postcard from us. And we've even got incentives that come with handsewn sweatshirts left (which take forever and look pretty damn neat/unique). 

So here we are, in the last three days, on our proverbial knees, both thanking y'all who've already contributed for giving so generously, and asking those who haven't yet to think of how many friends you'd accumulate with a fancy handsewn sweatshirt or pretty t-shirt.

True to our word, here is the first of our covers.  Again, we'll be doing one cover for each $100 we go over our initial goal of $750.  Please continue to let us know your requests either through commenting here, on FaceBook or through email.

We are some combination of amazed, thankful, awestruck and ecstatic that we've reached our goal so quickly! 

So firstly we'd like to thank you from the bottom of our folk-rock hearts for your support, it means so much to us.

The truth is that finishing an album actually costs quite a bit more than our goal (we thought we set it high!) and so we still could use as much help as all you friendly folks can give and plus, there are still plenty of incentives left unclaimed (6 more special edition boxes!) so the more we can raise the better we can make this album sound, look and taste(?). 

Secondly, and as a thank you to all of you, we'll be posting an acousticy harmony-filled cover of a song every time we raise another $100 above our original goal.

So we've been getting some questions about just what this keepsake box looks like, and here we are to show you!

The box is wooden, stained and pretty.

The lyrics are written on a real typewriter (a what?) on individual pieces of paper. 

The photos are real polaroids of neat things we've seen (a huh?).

The box is collaged inside with old maps and a small removable frame is stuck on the inside lid.

There is also lace inside to wrap it all up as you can see.

Oh and there is a CD in a little sewn paper sleeve with "Home" on it!

Hope those who choose it enjoy it!

P.S. These are made to order so when they're gone they're gone for good!
