About this project
The world is an open road and just as Jack Kerouac did before us, we have a desire to hit the road. But unlike Kerouac and his buddy Dean, we have about a 1,000 pounds worth of equipment to take with us and four extra dudes. The point is we want to tour and play as many shows for you guys as possible, but we need YOUR HELP! Our goal is to reach the east coast this summer (and also play both the mid west and west coast in the process) and play songs off our album Retreat to people who have never seen us before. That is why we have started this Kickstarter. We are using this money to help pay for gas (nearly five dollars a gallon? seriously?), a van, and a trailer. Most everything that comes with this Kickstarter is only available through your donation, so its uber rare shit! The Acoustic EP will include a couple older tracks, one new track, an awesome cover and a remix, so it's totally worth it! Help us reach our goal and thank you in advance for your support :D

With the release of their most recent first full-length album, "Retreat," the members of The Motel Life, Michael Escanuelas, Judcody Limon, Nick Camacho, Al Hernandez and Ray Markel, plan to reach out to new fans and have their music heard.
