The Locket is a fast paced drama about the fine line that exists between justice and revenge.
"James Harrison is an All-American swimmer on his way towards the olympics. He finds solitude under the water and through his relationship with his sister, Karla. Once faced with a horrific family tragedy he is pushed to the brink. James is forced to make a decision whether to take matters into his own hands or face the injustice inflicted upon his family. The events that unfold will define him for the rest of his life."
This film will compete within international and local film festivals. It will be shot locally in the Raleigh, NC area over a period of a few weeks in February. The film will be scored by prominent local musicians and include installations from other local artists.
Your donation will go towards additional production equipment, cast and crew expenses, location fees, film festival dues, and artist compensation. Without charitable donations to the arts, projects like ours are not possible. Building artistic communities in cities like Raleigh is important for not only the arts but communities as a whole.
Brian Olson will be directing this film. He recently has moved back from Hollywood to the Raleigh/Triangle area. He has grouped a talented list of business and media professionals to complete this film.

Patrick Shanahan, a local artist and filmmaker will also be collaborating on this project. His most recent project, "The Carolinian," is in the early stages of post-production. He is also an accomplished painter and visual artist in the Raleigh area.

Chris Kaiser, Director of Photography is an accomplished cinematographer from Hollywood, CA who has recently moved to Raleigh to pursue this and other artistic exploits in Raleigh. Brian and Chris have collaborated for the past five years establishing various art mediums on the west coast.
Craig Reed, Producer has worked with various musicians, artists, and both profit and non-profit associations. He has established himself in the local community as both an art purveyor and all around art enthusiast.
