So almost 2 years ago you generously contributed to FUTURITY the musical. We are so excited to tell you that we've secured a 2012 World Premiere of the piece at American Repertory Theater in Cambridge MA followed by performances at Walker Art Center. You support in our workshop phase made this happen!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Right now we are finishing recording the concept album of the musical and will be releasing it on CD and vinyl in the spring. We are 7 days and a few hundred dollars away from finishing our new kickstarter campaign to fund the recording of the album. This album is going to be the best thing we've ever recorded. Dear Friends, Family, and People we don't know yet now love tremendously,

Thanks to your unbelievable generosity we exceeded our goal by nearly $1000. This means that we were able to clear our budget for futurity, put up the show to maximum effect and live to tell about it.

Things that happened because of your help:
1. Cast and Crew got paid actual money for their weeks of intense labor.
2. We purchased Mic stands and cables which we not only used for the performance, but will enable us to rehearse futurity without taping microphones to broom handles and coat racks.
3. All 16 of us made it safely and well fed all the way to Louisville and back.
4. We were able to build a BEAUTIFUL set for our new yorks shows...which you can see beautiful pictures of them here: http://gallery.me.com/aldoaldo#100908&view=carouseljs&sel=0
5. We were able to costume ourselves, pay for parking, pay for rehearsal space and generally feel like accomplished and well organized people.

And thanks to all of THAT...a lot of great and well connected people came to our workshop and we are now discussing the very exciting future of FUTURITY. This is a future that we will keep you informed about. Thanks so much for your generosity and belief in what we are doing. It means the world to us.

Dear Gods and Goddesses,

Oh. My. GOD. Thanks to you beautiful beasts, we are now over half-way to our goal!! We are happy to report that we are deep in rehearsals, singing our hearts out, being brave, trying to be gentle with each other and generally AND literally acting like monkeys. But also being very actor-ly and professional too. That's sort of what's great about being an actor - your director tells you to sing a song like a monkey just for fun...and that's, like...your job!

We will be posting a new full-cast video shortly, but just know how much we appreciate every single cent you have donated, and we WILL make you proud.
