About this project
The Love No Love Compilation is an annual domestic abuse benefit produced by The Levee Breaking.
The project is a two disc album with a Love/No Love theme done as a benefit to groups working against domestic abuse and sexual assault in the Pacific Northwest and regionally. The 2009 Love No Love Compilation brought together more than 130 musicians, visual artists, and record labels (Kill Rock Stars, Bicycle Records, Loveless Records, Short Story Records) and raised over $5,000 for New Beginnings.

Funding for the 2010 release would help us with manufacturing and production costs such as:
*Disc replication
*Making the album covers (blank packaging from Stumptown printing in Portland OR, screen printed artwork and letter-press printed album text)
*Promotion through local print media, radio, web and postering.
The 2010 release is scheduled for June in Seattle WA.
The Levee Breaking is an Associated Program of Shunpike.
Shunpike is a 501(c)(3) non-profit art service organization whose mission is to strengthen the Seattle arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed. Working in close partnership with these groups, Shunpike helps solve problems quickly and impart vital skills in finance, organizational management and arts administration.
