Update #4: Funded!
We made it! Thank you all for your support.
In the next few days we will be sending out surveys to figure out how to get you your rewards.
We look forward to sharing our work with you. Stay updated on our project by visiting our website and facebook page.
Update #3: We need $655 in 58 hours!
Hey everyone-
We are amazed about the strong support we have received so far. Thanks so much!
To be successful with this campaign, we need to raise $655 more dollars in 58 hours. Can you help us? Send out this link to as many friends and family as you can. Encourage them to contribute to our project if they are able to do so. As we've mentioned before, this project has been from the beginning a collaborative one, and we'd like to continue working that way throughout. That's why Kickstarter is such a great platform for us!
So please send those emails out! And we look forward to sharing this film with y'all.
Armand, Tamer, and Thom from The Last Volunteer

We're currently deep in the editing process, sequencing clips, adjusting audio, and figuring out how everything's going to fit together. Here's a glimpse of what our eyes have been seeing a lot of recently:

The Last Volunteer (TLV) is comprised of Armand Tufenkian, Tamer Hassan, Thomas Bollier and other people who bring diverse skills and perspectives to each project. As a group and as individuals, we seek to collaborate with the people we encounter through our work and connect with the places we visit and live. We believe that documentary and art have great capacities for instigating people to re-evaluate how they perceive themselves and their surroundings. With the intention of creating a more peaceful and durable society, we strive to reveal ideas that are suppressed and ignored by mainstream media organizations.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Did that email go out back in October? I don't recall having received it.
Do you have an estimated date for the completion of the film?
Many thanks,
Elizabeth
