Because of YOU we get to release this album!!! Thanks to 42 generous backers, we were able to raise the $4,000 needed to release this new album, "This is goodnight, this is goodbye"! But why stop now?!
We want to invite all of you who have considered backing the project to still check out the rewards because these reward levels are limited and exclusive to this Kickstarter project. We've built in some added value to each level to ensure that you get more for your money since you are pledging ahead of time.
If we are able to continue and raise more funds on this Kickstarter campaign, we will get a head start on purchasing an In-Ear Monitoring System (which is much needed) and also hopefully put a dent into our touring van savings fund!!

We are a band called theKey from Atlanta, GA. We have invested several hours and many many dollars into the recording of our upcoming album entitled "This is goodnight, this is goodbye".
However, we need a little help in sending the tracks to mixing, mastering, and printing. This is where you come in! We are looking to raise $4,000 in 30 days to fund the completion of our album and release it to the world! We thank you so much for considering to support us and we promise to return to you the best product we can for your audible enjoyment!

You may recognize a few songs from previous recordings, but the final tracks on this album have been completely re-recorded, mixed, mastered, etc for fully professional quality. Also, for some of the songs on the EP, we've added some delicious new arrangements/parts for your pleasure!

We do not yet have an official release date for the album, but as soon as this Kickstarter project is finished (assuming it's successful), we will begin to nail down a release date!

Yes! Kickstarter works that when you make a pledge you're making a commitment, so you can't go back and "de-pledge", BUT you are certainly more than welcome to INCREASE your pledge at any point!

Glad you asked! If more than $4,000 is raised, we will still receive the extra pledges with great joy! We'll get to release this album, and we'll get a head start on some other things we need. Two major needs we have right now are a van that can pull our trailer (approx. $10,000) with us all in the van and an in-ear monitoring system (approx. $4,000) for our live shows. We would be overjoyed if this project went on to raise additional funds to meet those needs and come closer to taking this band full time!

Yes, and no. Yes, you have a version of these songs. But no, because these are completely new (and much better) recordings of those songs. We've adjusted tempos, arrangements, different parts, Clay's voice has gotten better over our development as a band, we've all become better instrumentalists, etc. These recordings are much better and definitely more "album quality" than the recordings on the EP.

First of all, thank you for supporting us in the past! We wouldn't be where we are now without you! We can't really offer any discounts on the reward levels, but we have offered several different levels so that you can find one you want and will enjoy. If you already have some of the things in the reward packages, then please give the new ones to a friend!

Many of our rewards are rewards that build on each other. For example, look at Level 7. If you pledge and claim this reward, then the "+ Levels 1 - 6" part at the end of the Level 7 description means you not only get your name in the "Thank You's" of the album packaging, but you ALSO get everything in Levels 1 through 6!

You can’t spend your entire life in fear that you’ll make the wrong choice in regards to what you believe. In our opinion, there’s no stronger foundation in life than Jesus Christ. I know the world around us is broken: the economy is in a mess, pain and heartbreak are everywhere. I could spend hours on these topics, but that’s not our focus. I want to talk about you and me getting up and making a difference. This group is looking to make a difference ‘one chord at a time,’” concludes Scott.
