Happy news!!

It's finally that time!!

We're writing from Gadgetbox Studios in Santa Cruz, CA, where we're spending the weekend recording our next three songs: Migration, She Runs Away, and Send Me A Sign!

We are so excited and grateful to be bringing this Kickstarter campaign to fruition at last (thanks again to all of you!), along with our first 4-song EP!

In other news, we're also looking forward to attending the West Coast Songwriter Association's annual conference on September 8-9. We loved it last year and learned a ton in the various workshops, but this time around we'll also be performing!

In addition, if you haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet, Deanna recently designed a line of "JinxWear" quoting lyrics from our songs and short poems. So if you're looking to get or give a creative t-shirt, coffee mug, messenger bag, pair of comfy sweatpants, or baby shower item, please stop on by! We think it's pretty fun stuff, and all of your purchases support our music!

Dear Kickstarter friends and project backers,

We haven't forgotten about you!!! : )

We're writing to give you a quick progress report on our Send Me A Sign EP!

Due to a health emergency in his immediate family, our recording engineer Andy Zenczak had to postpone our recording date until August 24-26 (we had originally planned to be at Gadgetbox Studios from May 18-20).

Although we were disappointed to delay the process, we are happy to report that Andy's father is recovering well and we are now deeply engaged in the pre-recording planning, with all engines GO for August!

That means, of course, that your CDs will not be pressed, printed and sent to you until September. We hope you will find that they have been worth the wait -- that is certainly our aim!!

We continue to feel inspired and grateful to our Kickstarter family, and have spent these two interim months finishing up many more songs we hope to eventually share with you.

We will be in touch again in early September to let you know how AWESOME the session was (we know it will be!) and get your current mailing info so we can send you your CDs and other goodies.

P.S. Good news! Our youtube video for "Buh Buh (if you want)" has just surpassed 2,000 views, and the song has now been accepted into 3 music libraries for indie film & tv placements! Progress!!

Yesterday we reached our funding goal and we are so grateful to all of you who jumped in and pledged!

As a result, our "Send Me A Sign" EP is on the fast-track to becoming a reality! We will be recording at Gadgetbox Studios from May 18-20 and can hardly wait to work with the musicians and engineers again!

It has been heartwarming to connect with so many of you and to feel supported in our musical aspirations, and it has been inspiring to see what big goals can be achieved when people collaborate!

After the campaign is officially closed on May 5th, we'll be in touch again to get addresses, etc. for mailing out goodies, but in the meantime we just want to say THANK YOU!!!
