We have just finished a new record.
If our project is funded, we will apply it towards the pressing of 4 different records on vinyl and sustaining as much time, for as many members of the Heligoats band while on tour this year. Touring begins in October in the Midwest. We travel to the east coast and southeast through November and travel to the southwest and west coast in December. Touring will continue into, and through, the New Year.
Your kind donations will wholeheartedly be put towards touring and record pressing expenses. All donations will be rewarded with high-fives, fancy records, songs and shows. Thank you for your support.
We’re very excited to offer you our new record, “Back to the Ache,” recorded February - June 2012 at Observatory Studios in Chicago.
Due out October 2012, the record features 12 new songs by Chris Otepka and The Heligoats. This is the 2nd full length record recorded by the Hungry Mountain / Observatory band in Chicago and the 11th Heligoats record in almost 13 years.
This is an especially exciting record as it features members of Hungry Mountain and original Heligoats / Troubled Hubble drummer, and long-time collaborator, Nate Lanthrum.
