It has been over a year since you invested in our company though our kickstarter campaign, and once again, we want to say thank you. In that year we have built out a writing workshop that has served over 50 writers. We put out The Rust Belt Rising Almanac, which exhibited the work of almost 30 artists and authors. And we will be publishing our first novel, Lion and Leopard in early November.
This could not have happened without your support through crowdsourcing on Kickstarter. In an effort to keep this relationship going where your support translates into great work that enriches and fosters the literary community, The Head & The Hand is proud to announce the launch of our Community Supported Publishing (CSP) Program. Just as in Community Supported Agriculture where shareholders pay a farmer in the beginning of the season for weekly boxes of fruits and veggies, for a yearly payment our shareholders will receive 2 boxes of our finest literary work including our novels, almanacs, chapbooks and a few other treasures.
As many of you can imagine, selling books through the conventional systems is extremely hard and the profit margins are razor thin. But by supporting us through the CSP, we get the resources to keep our company going and you, the reader and shareholder, get some great literary work. For more information on the CSP, please check out www.theheadandthehand.com/csp.
Thanks for all the support. The Head & The Hand is where it is today because of all of you.
