I want to take a minute to thank all of you backers who helped me double my original Kickstarter goal toward releasing Flash. It was an honor to send your rewards, particularly the signed copies of the book. We had an amazing packing party a few weeks back to sign, stuff, wrap, package, and ship the book to various places around the world. The last update I'll post here will be a video of that occasion - as soon as I can edit it in the midst of book-promoting duty!
For backers and anyone else reading this, I'm proud to say that you've become a part of something special. Certainly not because of me or my skill as an author, but rather the spirit and vision of what The Forever Saga represents. It takes hard sacrifices to pursue a dream, including choices that make little to no sense to others in your life. After trying out a few careers paths and learning that over 2/3rds of Americans dislike their job, I knew it was time to dream bigger and risk doing what I love. That so many would encourage this dream, and play a part in it, is very humbling. I believe I am part of something greater than myself, and that even greater things are ahead.
Now that the book is finally released, you should know that a portion of every copy sold goes to International Justice Mission. In their words, they are "a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression." Not only do they work to provide care for victims, but they also work to bring the offenders to justice. IJM is excited and blessed for receiving support through every single copy of The Forever Saga: Flash sold.
Since today is the official release date, I am asking for your help once again. If you have read Flash, I would ask that you would write a concise, spoiler-free user review on Amazon by Clicking Here and reviewing either the e-book or paperback - whichever format you read it in (please do not review the Kickstarter Edition listed on Amazon; it is out of print).
For everyone else, please go to Amazon and buy Flash, one sale for $0.99 as an e-book and $12.99 in paperback. If you enjoy it, by all means review it!
Once more, thank you all for your continued support, and for a more unique take on how you can get on board, check my new video below! - Sean
