"The First Rule of Assassination is...to kill the Assassin!"
I am raising funds for my short film, "The First Rule", that I wrote. I intend to use the funds to secure a single location in Houston, TX. Also, I intend to pay for the two actors and actress that I need. I also will use the funds to purchase/rent equipment such as tape stock, mattebox, lighting kits, etc. The funds will be used strictly for the production itself.
I plan on using my own HDV camera to shoot the film to help keep the cost low. It's my plan to shoot in one location and to have a minimal cast to support the story in which I'm trying to make. Again, the $10,000 dollars I'm asking for is for the securing of one location, a motel along with rooms, and to pay for the actors/actress needed to bring the story alive. The funds lefts over will be used to rent any further equipment needed as needed for the production through a local rental house here in Houston, TX.
