Hi! We are The Family Crest, an orchestral indie rock band, and we are setting out to mix, master, and print our first full-length record, The Village. Featuring over 100 musicians in California, The Village is the culmination of two years of hard work. We recorded the entire project on our own – bought the recording equipment, learned how to use sound engineering software, traveled all over the state to record the musicians, tracked and re-tracked instruments. And now, finally, we are on the cusp of finishing a record we are truly proud of.
But we need your help.
Mixing, mastering, and printing our record is a $10,000 process. We do not have the backing of a major label, management company, or producer to foot the bill. So, with the help of kickstarter.com, and YOU, we are officially launching our fundraising campaign.
Please support us by pledging, and we’ll reward you with shout-outs, advanced copies of the record, portraits of you rendered in Microsoft Paint, original acoustic recordings, bowling with the boys, ice skating with the girls, dinner dates, and other personal events with The Family. Every penny counts!
