Well, as of tonight, we'll be almost halfway through with delivering our custom backer donuts. It's been a really fun, rewarding challenge churning these flavors out all day long, and then getting to see the delight on people's faces when we show up on their doorstep (why we nixed the ding-dong-ditch idea.....kidding).

Thanks to everyone who's already gotten back to us on preferred custom donut delivery times! Once we've heard from everyone, we will confirm with each of you individually with the time that we'll be by. Looking forward to seeing you!

Hello, Kickstarter friends! Just wanted to post a quick update to let everyone know that those backers who receive a custom donut flavor as part of their reward ($250 +) will be receiving their custom flavor via delivery next week. It's a ton of work getting everything together and we are so thrilled to be able to deliver little bits of donut heaven direct to your hot little hands so soon. Hope everyone enjoys (yikes)! There are still quite a few people from whom we never heard back when Kickstarter emailed all the donors at the end of the fundraising period--please check if your spam folder contains errant messages asking for information regarding your incentive package! We're hurrying to assemble and distribute all of the remaining rewards, so if you didn't let us know what size t-shirt you wanted, we will need to special order it. A big thank you to everyone who made it out to our thank you event--which is an overwhelming number! All the donuts were snatched up within a very short time, and we loved meeting many of you and just generally having an awesome time.
If you picked up your incentive package, keep in mind that you will still receive your free coffee card when we are open for business, and your custom donuts are in development. The tote bags were super popular and we're so glad we went with them (instead of the recipe book). Special thanks to the bands, and to 612Brew as well! The beer was a huge hit (and really, if you didn't get to come, you wouldn't believe how many people were dunking their donuts in the beer and proclaiming it 'perfect'!). A match made in heaven. Hi, everyone! We've been hard at work finalizing everything for our thank you event this weekend, and we hope to see as many of you there as we can. Brandon from Uptown Tattoo made us this amazing poster to promote the event, and they've been getting snatched from their places all over town.

This is by no means the end of the road for us, since there are hundreds of things left to do before we're ready to open, but what a great way to say thank you to all you amazing folks who've helped us along the way, and to get energized for all that is to come. So come on out and say hello, enjoy a donut, and listen to some great live music!

WE DID IT! We can not begin to tell you all how very appreciative we are. It is amazing how people can rally for something they really believe in and want to happen. We will be keeping everyone updated on our Thank You event. Here are the details so far: It will be held on September 4th at The Archive venue in Uptown Minneapolis. We've booked the first band....'The Great Confinement'. Check your inbox for more details as they become available. And, again, thank you all so much!

Now that we've met (and exceeded!) our goal, we will be having our big thank you party for everyone that has donated. The tentative date is Saturday, September 11th. We are still finalizing the venue, bands, and other local foods being served. The incentives will be available for pick up at the event - We would like to cut down on un-needed shipping/gas. Donors that will not be able to make it will get their items shipped to them. We will keep everyone updated as more information becomes set in stone.

p.s. we have the key to our store front and are in the process of purchasing our equipment! exciting!
