Update #7: Progress!
Update #6: I'm Back!
Hello there!
I'm back from Morocco and it was...AMAZING! In fact, I'm a little obsessed with the place right now. The trip was everything I imagined and more and I can't wait to share it all with you. In fact, I have already shared a little over on my new blog here and here (and on my old blog here and here) . There will be more stories to come as I work through the editing process and you can always check out the entire collection, here, where I will post them all once the edits are done.
So, you might be wondering where the project stands right now...
Currently, I am working my way through the photographs (around 160 of them!) editing away any dust that might have accumulated on the scanner. Once the edits are done I will choose the images for each reward and send them out to the printers. As soon as they come in the mail, I'll start packaging them up to mail out to all of you!
The book, as I stated before, is going to take a little longer. I would like to start sending out the prints before I really dive into the book designing process because, well, I know myself and once I start designing something I can't stop until it is done.
If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to leave them in the comments. Also, I would love to hear from you if you stop by my blog so don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
Update #5: And so it begins!
Update #4: The countdown begins...
Update #3: Taking the Next Step
Tonight I took a few steps towards my Morocco adventure!
I purchased my plane tickets and faced my fears. You can read all about them here: http://www.thedizzypixie.com/2011/09/facing-my-fears.html
I purchased 9 packs of lovely Impossible Project film during their 24 hour, free shipping sale as well as a little shade thingy to keep my photos protected as they pop out of the camera (very important!).
I also purchased a much needed messenger style camera bag that I absolutely LOVE. Plus it will keep my gear right by my side, kinda like a holster only way more stylish. ;-) Oh and don't worry, I sold a lot of my junk to buy this thing....no Kickstarter funds used, but I had to share anyway!
As the trip gets closer I will be posting more updates here and on my blog- TheDizzyPixie.com
Please let me know if you have any questions..... or if you just want to chat. :-)
Again, Thank You All for you help to make this dream come to life. I really can't say that enough so I'm sure you might get tired of hearing it by the time this little fiasco is complete. :-)
Cheers! ~Bria

Connected as Briana Morrison (486 friends)
A recent art school graduate, I just held my first solo art show in March 2011 at The Naked Lounge in Chico, CA. My show, Secrets About Secrets, consisted entirely of analog photography with an emphasis on instant images using The Impossible Project Film. While I prepare myself for graduate school, I would like to continue to pursue instant photography as an art form. My passion for this medium has lead me down a magical path and I hope to keep the magic flowing.
Do we get to choose which print?
Katie- Unfortunately, no. That would just get way too confusing for me. But, that doesn't mean you can't have a say. Please comment on your favorites as they are added to my flickr group and I will take into account the popular choices as I choose the prints.
