An artist will be preparing a series of free meal for 400 people and you are invited. EVERY VENUE: FREE MEAL | FREE ADMISSION
Venue #1: Hundreds were invited to the first MIAMI PERFORMANCE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (M/P ’12) from July 26 through the 29, 2012. On July 29, the artist prepared a meal for 400 people. Over 300 were served a bowl of fresh hot food.

Your donation will cover some of the ingredients and equipment necessary (a project like this runs about $800 total in just ingredients and equipment. Meaning labor, rentals, utilities, time, and gas are always covered by the artist or group) not only for July 29, 2012 but also two upcoming venues.
The first installment in this series was so useful! Many establishments expressed how they liked the project and how they really wanted to contribute and donate. We have new media contacts in different food distribution companies and are now affiliated with large distributors that received produce from Homestead before they reach the retail stores.
With your help this project will grow. In the near future I want to include installments of this project in areas where those in need reside. More than a project to feed an audience I would like to be able to fund a project that addresses issues of poverty, hunger, food distribution, and care.

Come back to see soon some images from THE PICNIC's last installment on July 29, 2012 at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
The first installment of the Picnic took place Sunday July 29, 2012, yes. However, four venues expressed their interest in the project and two of them are close to being secured.
Your money will DEFINITELY go towards the project. All accounting is done transparently and is ready to be accessed at any time.
I am trying to see if I can transfer some of the donated money via PayPal to this kick starter. Donations via PayPal totaled about $277.00 Donors have been emailed and the rewards are soon on their way...
This Kickstarter took a bit longer than I anticipated to launch. If I raise all these funds and add the PayPal donation, almost all expenses of the first picnic will be covered. This is a great relief and definitely a reason to keep this project going. I REALLY appreciate your interest and help. Thank you, sincerely.
