NYC born and raised rock n' roll band The Brooklyn What is releasing their second album, "Hot Wine" on CD and vinyl record!
Hello friends old and new,
We are The Brooklyn What and this is our album, "Hot Wine." We are excited to get our statement, 15 tracks of raw power, pure soul, ballistic punk and genuine rock n' roll out to the people. This is the album we have spent years conspiring to make, and we are very close to releasing into the world and unto your ear buds.
We have been working hard this last year with Mike and Matt Gevaza at Continental Recording Studio on making the best record we can, something that we think each of you will love. It features songs by all members of The BKW, including 2 by the late, great Billy Cohen and the recording debut of the Brooklyn Horn section. Because the record's influence runs so deep, from Dion to Sonic Youth, The Rolling Stones to The Replacements, Otis Redding to Dinosaur Jr., we wanted to release the record on vinyl as well as CD and digital. This is, unfortunately, an expensive process. This is where you guys come in.
This Kickstarter is not a charity. It is a way of getting the music from us, the artist, directly to you. A small donation will put the record in your hand; a bigger one will bring the party right to you. You'll see.
