How to use Kickstarter to fund The 1812:

• We are raising money to get The 1812 marketing campaign off the ground; get some tee shirts printed, some other marketing swag, and start getting our name out there. 
• Why donate to The 1812?  We get to start our business, Denver gets some awesome Cajun food, you get cool swag, and warm fuzzy because you helped us realize our goal.  Check out what you get for donating below...  
• We have 45 days to raise $3,500, if we don't reach our goal by the end of the 45 days all money will be returned to the donors.  Reaching this goal means everything to us, so please help by donating, and telling your friends/family/coworkers to donate as well. 
• Donating to The 1812 on kickstarter.com is easy! Just open an account with Kickstarter, all you need is an email account and a password of your choosing. Next, sign into Amazon (or sign up for an account if you don't already have one).  The next step is simply to pledge your donation to The 1812, your card will only be charged when we reach our funding goal.

What is The 1812?

The 1812 restaurant and bar will be Denver's most authentic Cajun experience.   With a full bar, a stage for live music, a multitude of bar games, and Denver's most extensive offering of traditional Cajun dishes; what's not to love?!

The 1812 is a restaurant with a split personality; family dining by day and the newest Denver hot-spot by night.  The bar will offer regional Louisiana style drinks, as well as an energetic atmosphere set by live music and a unique decor.   The 1812 specializes in Louisiana style cuisine; Cajun, Creole, and seafood.   This specific cuisine and atmosphere fills a noticeable void in the Denver restaurant market; home cooked, flavor filled food in an atmosphere that could only be inspired by one of America's most beloved sin cities, New Orleans.  Our goal is to bring a little bit of the Big Easy to Denver and allow our customers to revel in the wild abandon that New Orleans embodies.

Why do we need your help?

Finding funding for a restaurant is hard enough, but toss in a down economy and it becomes exponentially harder.  Kickstarter is wonderful new way to raise the money we need to begin building momentum for The 1812, and our fundraising efforts.  The $3,500 we will raise from this project is only a fraction of what we need to fully fund The 1812, but we know that this marketing campaign will be the tipping point. Your donation will help us take the first step toward reaching our goal of bringing The 1812 out of the planning stage and into reality.

At The 1812 we have a passion for what we are doing; we stand by the fact that our recipes are truly authentic, our cocktails are world class, and you wont be able to find an establishment in Denver that quite matches the atmosphere at The 1812.
