We like to make Christmas cards. Do you want one?
Dear Kickstarter,
Why so glum? Did your family send you an unsigned boiler-plate shutterfly photo creation for Christmas again? Uh oh, they didn't send you an e-card did they? Wait, do your friends think that a status update is the same thing as holiday cheer? Oh man, did your loved-ones forget you on Christmas altogether?
We are not artists, but we do like to make Christmas cards. Most years we send a hand-made card to our friends and families. We usually have a few extra. Do you want one? There's nothing like getting a hand-made Christmas card in the mail to chase away those holiday blues.
(Not a Christian? Not a problem, neither are we! But non-Christians get the Christmas blues too, and a friendly greeting once a year might be just the thing you need.)
Your $2 contribution will cover the cost of materials, printing and postage.
Sincerely,
Christine Lambert and
Nick Proctor
P.S. If you take the time to send us a card, we'll put you on our mailing list for next year. We can become Christmas card correspondents!
