Open Source Platform
All resulting applications will be open source. If you plan to publish on your own, you will need to be a registered and approved developer for each platform you plan to use. Textfyre will take your story and design a game for it. You can do the writing or we will do the writing for you. You will be involved in the design and writing process from start to finish. We will code, test, and publish your game on our platform. You will own the copyright and all materials associated with the game as well as receiving all royalties from sales.

A story will take the open source code and compile to something. So in the case of Android or Kindle, the results of using the KDK Jar and your UI code and your FyreVM story file would be a new JAR file. We will open source FyreVM and a basic implementation of the UI for each platform. You could write your own UI code, but you would not need to implement FyreVM.
