We want to share a story with you we think you are going to like.
It's a thriller about love and magic.
It's a story that if it's to reach its end, it will have to generate enough buzz to keep it rolling. We are betting it will. In fact, we want to see this story made so much, that we would do it for free. And we are! The money we are asking from you today is to cover the bare necessities of a shoot. We don't pay ourselves, but we do pay our cast and crew. We also need money for things like equipment, food, expendables and transportation.
We believe there is an audience out there hungry for an original, smart, edgy, sharp, emotional, cosmic, romantic web-series with a message of love.
With your help, we can make it happen together!
The Cell is a web-series made up of a pilot and eight episodes. Genesis (The Pilot) has been completed and is up on the web for you to watch. We are currently asking you for the money to shoot and post-produce Episode 1 ½ -- Notes from the Underground. We are hoping to fund each episode individually.
Our goal is to produce eight episodes of The Cell through Kickstarter, for a total of thirty minutes of impeccable storytelling. For us, part of the fun of making this web-series is to to figure out how to do stuff with little or no money -- there is no way to get closer to your story then by doing everything yourself!
