Kickstarter

Hi everyone,

We were pleased to see some of you along at our Comic Night on Thursday, which was part of the Glasgow Merchant City Festival and we were treating it as our official launch night for the comic. The pub was absolutely packed and it was amazing to look round and see so many people drawing comics, not to mention so many teams for the comics pub quiz! 

We're hoping to do more events like this on a regular basis, so look out for updates. You can see some photos from the night on our facebook page and our blog. We'll be posting all the drawings people made shortly (lots of scanning to do first!).

We've had a lot of people getting in touch with us over the past couple of weeks to let us know their rewards have arrived safely, the last one being as far away as Australia. So hopefully that's all of them now!

We really hope you enjoyed the latest issue of Team Girl Comic. Feel free to send us a photo of you with your reward, we'd love to see them. 

And to celebrate, we're having an official 'launch night' in The Scotia Bar this Thursday evening at 7pm. There's going to be lots of drawing and a comics themed pub quiz! If you are in Glasgow please come along and say hi.

On Saturday a few of us got together to make up all the Kickstarter rewards packages. So many comics!! They were all posted today* so UK folk can expect to receive them in the next day or two, international a little longer.

This morning we had a whole load of boxes delivered, full to the brim with Team Girl Comic! We're going to organise a 'packing day' later this week :) 

Our new badges have arrived, which are part of some of the Kickstarter rewards! Everything else- the new issue, the back issues and the postcards- will be arriving shortly from our lovely printers at UK Comics Creative. 

While we're waiting, we've begun planning out our Comics Day for the Glasgow Merchant City Festival on 26th July, more details soon!
