We did it!  Thank you to everyone that supported our Kickstarter campaign and helped us raise over $29,000!! Unbelievable. Using the pledges from you, we’re planning to finish up recording the album later this month and send it off to Sterling Sound in NY for Greg Calbi (Paul Simon/Kings of Leon/Alabama Shakes/) to finish it up in early December. We’re tentatively planning for the release date to be in April or May 2013. We have so much to do between now and then, but we’ll keep you posted every step of the way. We’re so thankful to you, our fans, for believing in what we’re doing and supporting our vision for this new album.

We’ll be reaching out to everyone that pledged to the campaign on Monday and Tuesday with details on how to claim your rewards. Thank you again so much – we love you all!

We did it! You all made this happen and we are so thankful; it's such a great thing that we are doing this together. Since we've reached our goal, we're writing not only to offer our deep appreciation to those that have already pledged, but also to motivate anyone still interested in the rewards to pledge now before our campaign closes later this week! Consider this an opportunity to pre-order the new album, which is now a reality thanks to everyone that has supported the campaign. 

The more pledges we get over these last 5 days, the more cool stuff we’ll be able to do around the release of the album. Now that we’ve raised enough money to cover the basics – additional studio time/sound engineer/manufacturing – everything we raise now will go towards marketing and promotion for the album. We have some great ideas for music videos, art, and various ways to present the music.

We’re so proud of our fans for stepping up and believing in what we are doing and we’re excited to continue the diligence and dedication that it will take to bring this project home. It's not only about this record, it's about being part of a larger culture that celebrates and supports its artists and the arts.

Unbelievable - we're about 95% of our goal and we still have 8 days to go!  Now is when we really need your help to push us over the top.  Let's not stop once we reach the goal - the more pledges we get, the cooler stuff we can do with the album.

We've been busy beavers in the studio over the last few weeks.....the songs (best one's we've ever had) are growing like little redwoods, and the inspiration is flowing. We've invited a lot of guests from the Bay Area music scene to be part of this song or that, and they've been coming by the studio (Coyote Hearing) for amazing hangs & for throwing paint at the tracks to see what sticks to the canvas. I can't wait for you to hear this stuff! We are using tremendous discipline to not leak a note of it, or perform any of it at our many live shows, so that it will be fully formed & finished when you get your first impressions. 

 ‬Speaking of, I'm particularly excited about the exclusive listening party we are planning to host at the studio.....it will be SF-traditional, if you know what I mean. :)

Hello everyone! A HUGE thank you to everyone that has helped take this campaign past $20,000. We’ve heard from several folks asking if it’s possible to make a pledge for more than one item. Since Kickstarter doesn’t allow for 2+ options to be selected, please pledge the amount of the combined total of the 2+ items you want on the highest cost item and send us an email to confirm your selections at tlg@redlightmanagement.com.

When we reach our goal and are able to finish this record, we’re planning to have a major celebration and listening party in the Bay area. To those of you that still haven’t pledged, for $75 you and a guest can attend that private listening party for the new album followed by a performance from us. It’ll give you the chance to hang with the band, hear the new record before anyone else and see us perform live in an intimate setting.

Humbled and excited for the road ahead, we as a band have never been more in sync or more motivated creatively; we're in bed with the muse. We truly look at this record, these songs and this moment as our now moment. I believe in my soul that what we're archiving now will embody my life’s masterwork for as long as media in any form exists. The music we are creating will outlive us here on earth and that is the essence of art; the attempt to carry on, to rebel against the notion that existence is defined by our physical being and nothing more. What?!  It's only been a week and we've already raised over 60% of our Kickstarter goal! You all totally ROCK!  For those who have already pledged, we cannot thank you enough.
