It's Almost Playtime!
We've been working super hard to get all of the kits boxed up to ship out by the end of this week. Boy, is it a lot of work!
Thanks to the volunteer help of our fellow designers at Teague, we've sorted, bagged, stickered, packed, programmed, and labeled over 200 complete Teagueduino kits. That's more than half, and since we've sorted out all of the tricky details of production, the other kits should be ready in just another day or two.
If you haven't noticed already, the Teagueduino community website has also been getting a pretty serious make-over. Be sure to Sign In and create an account on the new site; your Teagueduino account is a light-weight login that lets you post projects from the Teagueduino editor and add extra things (like photos and video) to your projects.
We also wanted to let you know that we've posted all of the Teagueduino code, schematics, protocols, and PCB files; it's all open source and ready for you to play with! We believe that open source is awesome and we want it to be accessible to everyone -- we've even posted the bill of materials so that hardware manufactures can easily jump in, too.
Fingers crossed, we'll ship all of the boxes by this Friday. We can't wait to see what you make!

I've been exploring the site updates and watching some videos. You guys have really put a lot of thought into making this kit very approachable for the novice while still hackable for the adventurous. The included packaging insert that you can cut-and-fold into the police car example is a nice touch.... Though I'm glad you have a downloadable version I can print myself so I can keep the original as a souvenir. :-)
Looking forward to next week when these start arriving. In the meantime, I highly recommend signing up for the account (as suggested in the update) and exploring the various tutorials, videos, project ideas, etc. Great stuff!
