Cheers :)
Does anyone know how to make new sensors for the Teagueduino?
Great work, guys. Very excited to play with it!
Tim, Dan, Martin,
Good to know the kits are making it! Thanks for the heads up :D
We still have a long ways to go—lots of reference material and tutorials to make!
But maybe after a brief respite over the holidays... :)
Hi there. It arrived today in the UK. Thanks for the effort put in. Looking forward to playing with it over the holidays.
Martin
Same as Tim, got mine today in the UK, and all looks good!
Thanks to everyone at Teague!
England.
Arrived.
Intact.
Brilliant.
Happy.
Thanks!
Kevin, should be back up now. Not sure why that's happening, but we're looking into it.
Craig, thanks for the heads up! We were a little uncertain about those glue dots, but the next step up in tackiness was "permanent" and we figured we should go a step down from that :) But you're right, in the long term a flap/die-cut solution would probably be ideal.
Luckily the board is pretty rugged and everyone's should be in good shape. But if anyone has an issues out of the box, be sure and let us know!
Just wanted to share that my package arrive today... Still in the unboxing phase, but happy that it arrived! First impression, though...the teagduino board itself was rolling around loosely when I opened the box. It seemed to have come unattached from the adhesive "dots" that look like they were meant to hold it to the Getting Started cardboard insert. You obviously can't control the shipping system and all the machines and hands that handle the box, but you might want to reconsider how the board is contained during shipping....maybe have some small flaps (2 or 4) cut into the cardboard so that the PCB is held like a business card in a fancy presentation folder?
Anyway, more to come... Hope everyone else's (at least Stateside) will be showing up in the coming days. Another Kickstarter project based in China sent their rewards out which I finally got today...12 days later....so, International folks - I feel your pain coming from the opposite direction. :-)
I think there's an issue with the website, it appears to be down...
How are Teagueduino and Arduino related? What translates from Teagueduino to Arduino? The relevant section in the reference ("Migrating to Arduino and Beyond") is blank. In particular what code, and will the IDE work with an Arduino board?
Craig,
Everything is on it's way! (*Whew*)
Corey,
Be sure to share what you start making once it shows up! We're excited to see what everyone makes!
SSSOooooooo excited these are all out now... can't wait to start playing!!!
@Teague & Team: were you guys successful in getting everything out the door last Friday per the comment below from a week ago?
Thanks on behalf of a lot of eager hackers/tinkerers/coders!
Website is back up!
You currently can't make system calls or read files, but that's definitely something worth looking into.
As for shipping, everything should be out the door by Friday! International and all, even though customs does love giving us extra paperwork to do :)
Hope you guys aren't leaving all the international shipments until last...
;-)
Hi your web site seems to have gone down? I was hoping to look at the teagueduino language to see if you could make system calls from it or even read files?
Any news on international deliveries
When will I get my Teagueduino ??? getting impatient :)
So, when will it ship? Looking forward to getting ours to play with! :-)
Thanks, Mark! It's all you guys who got us there. We can't wait to get these things built, shipped, and in your hands! :)
You guys rock. So glad to see you blasted through your goal and hit such a high number!
Can´t wait to have mine :D
Great project guys. One of my sons is a huge Snap Circuits fan. This is just the thing he'd love.
