Thanks for returning the pledge in full, I hope you and the iBioplanet team get the app into the public domain. Please let me know when it is ready as I would definately purchase it. Thanks for also being honest explainng and answering my questions and then finally without arguement returning the money, respect. I hope that someday Steve and the iBioPlanet team is able to get this project up and running. The concept is great, and would be a great way to share knowledge about the plants that surround us every day. Steve has a great vision and just needs some funding and assistance to bring it to reality. Best of luck in the coming months, I look forward to a great app!

I wanted to leave a comment in support of Steve Bowen and the iBioPlanet Project. Although the project was unable to be delivered as originally intended, Steve reached out to his supporters to explain what happened - and then promptly returned the pledges to those of us who had supported him. A month past the October delivery date [for the app], two months since the last update, and no response to the many comments clamoring for some actual info about the app...we got swindled, didn't we? Contacted Kickstarter staff, we'll see how they respond.

Not a problem. Got the charger and use it all the time. Thanks for that. Too bad it doesnt have an iboplanet logo on it. That would have been sweet.

I am uncertain with you. Would love for Kickstarter to pull it off where you maintain more control, however having the project not make would be very much worse than loosing some control. I did increase my pledge, but unfortunately just me is not enough.

I wish there was a bit more to show people, I seem to have trouble explaining well enough to get someone excited enough to even look on Kickstarter.

Big UPS to you Stephen for creating this app...I have been talking about making an app like this for the past year, because of the importance I feel it could have. I live in Hawaii and grow lots of my own food, so having this would be great...I feel an app like this could be very useful to those in the organic farming movement. Many people want to grow their own food but dont know how. I have many more ideas about how this app could expand to growing food. I would live to shoot some over to you after you get this project complete...I hope to see it a success...

I have to admit that at first i didn't think this app was that good of an idea only because i thought to myself "when will i ever care what kind of leaf i'm looking at?" But the more i thought about it i realized that if i had the ability to read up on some sort of leaf i'm looking at i'd probably be more intrigued to try it. We are a very curious society, if you put a big red button in front of us that says "Press Here" we press it, regardless of what we think it does. I think this app is perfect for the times in that it will allow us not only to be more environmentally aware but will make us more environmentally curious as well. You could even extend off of this app and make it apply to insects and animals, maybe even cars and airplanes one day. I'm pretty excited to see this app once it's complete.
