the 4th wall project will create a virtual structure wherein participants around the world can creatively co-design the designated space in the new community center. The room will be designed by the live input of said participants using video feeds, projections, text chat, and video chat – the artists (listeners) in the space translating the instructions in real time to the walls.  The themes for the painting will revolve around inspiration and renewal while highlighting Braddock’s perseverance and evolution.

In conjunctions with the Braddock installation, the 4th wall project is looking to co-develop an open wiki style website where the people of Braddock and other communities on the comeback can share pertinent sustainability and rebuilding information - a constantly growing encyclopedia of green tech, urban farming, sustainable business creation, housing, and conservation will be at the user’s fingertips. This information can be shared, discussed and developed between people around the world to further their community. 

To further engage the Braddock community, the 4th wall project will provide a new computer and desk for the the newly designed space, creating a hub for knowledge and expansion in a room designed by the sharing and focus of multiple ideas into one space.

The money raised will go towards travel expenses, the computer system for Braddock, a desk and chair for the Braddock space, a projector, hd internet broadcast package, the development of the community rebuilding information sharing site, paints and materials for the week of production.
