Weight testing - 44lb (20KG)
Nothing too exciting here but we've been getting a lot of questions about how much weight the Genie can hold and pull. So we did a quick test last night with a 44lb (20KG) drum of water on top and had no problems pulling it along a track. I hope this helps, Thanks!

Theres no difference in continuos mode so the drum moves fluently with weight on it

We haven't tested it in vertical panning with the setup you have above. We used a 5D mark 2 with an older 21mm prime for a pan down shot in the KS video at night panning down to the waterfall. Will be posing more videos soon around this ...

I'm more concerned about the vertical panning movement. That puts more strain on the gears inside. Can it hold up a Canon 5d MkII + EF 70-200mm F/2.8 lens?

I assume this is in timelapse (move-stop-move) mode ?
When you put the Genie in continuous move mode, does the waterdrum still move fluently ?
