Funded! This project successfully raised its funding goal on November 26, 2009.
I think this is the home stretch. I will do another e-mail blast next week and we will meet the goal. I will then get the money and pay my wonderful engineer what I owe him, (Joe DeJarnette), pay for the mastering (Jeff Lipton-Peerless Mastering), pay for album art design. (Caleb Beyers) and finish paying off musicians. THEN my management team shops it to labels. It needs to be out by summer!

There was a real push in the last day or so. We are at $3,527, thank you so much. Zebulon, who is moving to NYC from NC, bought a house concert for himself! I am going to give an amazing show!!

I'll do another big push to my lists once I get to 3 grand. SO close to finishing tracking the album...and I can say, it is not a good album, it is a truly great album. one of those things I do and I could just quit after this and open a sausage and chips shop or something. seriously. The first track for it was recorded 2 years ago. It was a long process, lots of learning with Joe Bass how to record the stuff. "I Live in NYC" took me 4 tries to get the album version. It's amazing.
anyhoo. thank you all so much for contributing! I found an amazing guy to do the mastering, he costs 1800, but because of this I'll be able to afford him.

One of a kind mechanical disc music box, created with the incredible artist Gabriel Shaffer. Composition on disc will be one of a kind and never recreated. Shaffer will re-imagine antique music boxes into new art object. When these sell in galleries they will go for 8k-10k. I am VERY excited about creating these.
