why hello there,

we'll try our best to keep this swift and sweet. 

sweetest ♥ taboo is a greeting card line meant to celebrate the millions of free spirits who dare to live and love boldly. to the ones whose love stories often go untold and unsold, you are our inspiration. thank you for remaining fearless. 

with your donation we hope to remix the standard sentiments so many of our favorite card stores are plumped with. the initial goals are to begin selling online, then post up on the streets of NYC in a mobile store that involves a charming, old-school ice-cream truck and perhaps the most important early desire of all—to make our way to the (tippety top) shelves of some of the biggest greeting card retailers around.

yep, we like to dream big.

and speaking of we, here's a quick (might we add adorable) story about the two ladies behind sweetest ♥ taboo.

the first is a resplendent bisexual who recalls crafting up anniversary cards that best suited her relationship with a then girlfriend. she loves being creative with gifts, but out of desire not necessity. from reminiscing about those nights spent designing hand-made love cards, sweetest ♥ taboo was conceived. 

fun fact: the second gal is actually the above's former girlfriend. after three years of being on mute, the resplendent bisexual felt the need to dial up her old flame to share the idea she helped inspire. sweet story short, the two rekindled their friendship and decided to move forward together as providers for their newborn, sweetest ♥ taboo. 

ps: the ex-girlfriend is pretty damn resplendent as well.

please know that even if our kickstarter goal isn't met, we're still going to bring sweetest ♥ taboo to life for us all. promise.  

if you'd like to join us in these first baby steps, please know that your offerings will be used to pay for photographers, graphic designers, card stock, envelopes, marketing, site building and the overall sustenance of sweetest ♥ taboo.
