You are joyfully invited to be a participant in the creation of my upcoming album, “Songs from the Deep”.

After many years of writing music for yoga dvds and yoga classes, I am ready to create a soulful devotional album with English lyrics (much like my first solo album, Bhakti). This time my intention is it to bring you the listener not only into the heart of your own spiritual journey but also out onto the dance floor. With your help I want to roll out a rockin’ dance album!

I love to dance, and over the last 20 years it has been my pleasure to work with some amazing musical composers and producers of dance music and electronica. Now I have the opportunity to call them in to “deeper” collaboration. “Songs from the Deep” (working title) will showcase the unique talents of each of them as I combine my lyrics and melodies with their incredible compositions; creating a tapestry of stories about the human/spiritual adventure.

Because I travel extensively with many projects (watch the video to get a full picture of my work in the world) I have an opportunity to include these producers in a moveable feast, a recording tour throughout the country. A few of the tracks are complete, as I have been already recording with my longtime friend and co-producer Christopher K.  Other producers on the project will include Duke Mushroom (Yoga Organix), Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers), Jeff Stott (Six degrees), Robin Tala (MC Yogi), Kaminanda and more to be announced.

I want you to understand that this album cannot happen without your support. I am very excited to include you in the process as the songs evolve and develop. Over the next 60 days (last day of the kickstart is Friday, May 18), I will be giving you video updates and describing the wonderful gifts you can receive at various donation levels. All donations come with my undying gratitude. Meanwhile as part of my ongoing creative process I would like to ask you a few questions:
